TRAINING SOLUTIONS

Training solutions seek to improve the awareness and insight of specific skills and knowledge relevant to career development, job performance, and professional growth opportunities.

Success is typically measured by participant satisfaction surveys focused on job relevance and applicability, facilitator effectiveness, perceived knowledge gain, pace, instructional design, and satisfaction.

Without other supporting interventions, only 1-in-5 participants on average will change their behavior and performance from a stand-alone training solution.

Training solutions are most often deployed as open-enrollment offerings for individuals and are used to satisfy the basic compliance, health, and hygiene learning needs required to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent.

They should be tailored to your unique organizational culture and integrated with your current approaches, models, language, delivery modalities, and branding.

LEARNING SOLUTIONS
Learning solutions aim to change behavior and improve individual or team performance.

Success is typically measured by the adoption of new skills and behaviors and the corresponding lift in performance such as increased revenue, decreased costs or increased productivity.

Learning solutions are most often deployed as a change initiative for a team or group to solve a specific and important business problem.  To succeed, learning solutions must:

  • Be highly relevant to three key stakeholders compared to other strategic priorities:  (1) The Business, (2) Leadership (including your boss and his peers), and (3) Your Target Audience. We call this 3×3 Relevance.
  • Create adoption by defining and focusing on the critical few skills and scenarios that matter most, ensuring targeted performance coaching and aligning related business processes.
  • Measure impact by correlating high and low skill adoption to your key performance metrics and providing individual coaching scorecards for participants and their manager.

BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
Business solutions look to create organizational alignment and business impact by aligning corporate culture and talent to business strategies.

Success is typically measured by the short- and long-term improvement of strategic business metrics.  Business solutions are most often deployed as a systemic and strategic initiative with the executive team to:

  • Strategy: Create corporate strategies that are clear, believable, and implementable
  • Culture: Build a healthy, high performing, and strategically aligned culture to effectively implement the strategy
  • Talent: Better attract, develop, engage, and retain the top talent required to effectively implement the strategy
