Time management training matters.  Did you know that according to the May 2010 Psychonomic Bulletin and Review that only 2.5% of subjects can multitask without performing worse at either task? That means that the other 97%+ of us need to improve our focus and time management skills.

Also, according to a recent Boston Globe article, 43% of Americans categorize themselves as disorganized, and 21% have missed vital work deadlines. Nearly half say disorganization causes them to work late at least two or three times each week.

With poor time management having such a negative impact on productivity, we offer two proven time management training workshops.

This proven time management training program is built exclusively for people who have control over their time and activities on a daily basis, and want to work more productively.

Description:

Participants learn fundamental time management skills and time management techniques to improve personal productivity and to better manage their work and personal time.

Independent of any particular time management organizer system, participants learn how to improve focus, establish planning philosophies, and control their work environment.

Participants learn how to:

  • Define time and time management.
  • Develop strategies to reduce “firefighting” in the workplace.
  • Establish a range of S.M.A.R.T. objectives.
  • Prioritize among multiple objectives.
  • Build effective long-term and short-term plans.
  • Overcome procrastination.
  • Manage interruptions such as the telephone, people, meetings, paperwork and reading.
  • Institute personal objectives.

Target Audience
Managers, supervisors, and individuals who have some discretionary control over how they use their time.

Each program is preceded by an assessment of the participants. The course is then designed to fit the specific parameters and needs of the group. The highly interactive delivery is provided by recognized experts in their fields. On the spot coaching is provided during the program and each participant receives individual follow-up after the course. Courses can be delivered in-person or virtually.
