The purpose of this highly customized action learning leadership development program was to enhance the skills and confidence of senior leaders who were required to build cross functional commitment, role model the desired company culture, and translate functional strategies into effective action. The participants of the Unlocking Organizational Excellence for Leaders program were Directors and above who had a strategic role with a high level of responsibility to influence and drive results across multiple groups.
Leaders in this program had greater complexity in their role, and they were heavily reliant on effective cross-functional collaboration to achieve the most impact. They were responsible for implementing functional strategy. They often balanced their time between functional and strategic initiatives, had responsibility for coaching and developing others, and were expected to collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization.
