Technical presentation success.  This Fortune 100 Technology Company understood that many important business goals cannot be achieved without the support of excellent technical presentation and conversation skills. When sales and marketing presentations — even for world-class products, services, and solutions — are created or delivered in a second-best manner, millions in revenue can be lost.

Complications

Technical presentation success disconnect.  The 70 presenting researchers and scientists perceived that their presentations were succinct  compelling, and influencing while their less technically-oriented audiences, including customers, analysts, industry groups, and the press disagreed.

  1. Customized Skill Building: Trained all 70 presenters in technical content and technical presentation delivery skills in order to help them:
    • Use verbal and non-verbal techniques to build understanding
    • Present data and information clearly, concisely, and credibly
    • Organize technical content to be convincing
    • Use visuals effectively
    • Adapt technical presentations for non-technical audiences
    • Keep the audience interested and focused
    • Deal effectively with tough technical and non-technical questions
