Situation

This internationally known financial services company needed a method of selecting and developing a large number of employees for their retail branch system based on a new set of organizational values developed by senior leadership.

Complications

The values were fairly new and everyone wanted to be on the team.

Approach

  1. Developed a customized survey to measure customer service practices and the development needs of employees so that they could deliver the new service model
  2. Developed a customized training curriculum for new hires and branch managers based on the new business model
  3. Assisted in creating a selection process for new hires results

Results

  • A greater percentage of new hires were successful on-the-job and in the new business model leading to hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional revenue
