This technical operations team within a fast-growing life sciences company knew that great leadership happens by design. This customized action learning leadership development program focused on the fundamentals of how leaders create the conditions for their teams to do great work.
The participants of the HIPO Leadership Program were hand-selected emerging leaders who were either relatively new to people and project management or were aspiring to become a people manager.
The highly experiential design used real work to learn, practice, and apply key leadership concepts to help emerging leaders to develop their own leadership approach by understanding the fundamentals of a purpose first, people always philosophy. The program leveraged the power of a cohort to help emerging leaders develop their leadership brand, set up decision making and communication mechanisms across their team, and facilitate team dynamics effectively.
