This Change Management Simulation Certification is a virtual and self-directed training program designed for clients who want to facilitate the program in their organization.
Overview
The course consists of 13 modules, the full virtual simulation workshop, and Train-the-Trainer instructional videos.
Expect to spend approximately 6 hours preparing to deliver your first session. The online modules should take no more than 3 hours and the remainder of the time should be spent going through practice sessions as both a facilitator and participant. You have 60 days to complete the course from the day you start.
Following completion of this certification program, you will be certified to deliver the workshop both in-person and to remote participants.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT SIMULATION CERTIFICATION – THE SIMULATION AGENDA
- Module 1 – Meet Your Instructor
Meet your Master Facilitator who will provide an overview of the course.
- Module 2 – Welcome
Experience the workshop as a (virtual) learner and then earn your official certification status.
- Module 3 – Assess the Situation
Assessing the situation at the case study company, GlobalTech, is the first step in the change process. In this section you’ll be instructed to interview the stakeholders at GlobalTech to understand the forces driving and restraining change.
- Module 4 – Simulation Change Theory & Model
We review the change theory and change model that supports the simulation. The model is change agnostic and is based on foundational change principles that can be mapped to change methodologies like Kotter, ADKAR, Change Curve, Lewin’s 3-Stages, etc.
- Module 5 – Simulation Planning
Now it’s time to build a change plan using the 45 change tactics available to help lead and navigate change at GlobalTech as a team.
- Module 6 – Simulation Implementation
Now its time to implement the change plan to build a tipping point (60% buy-in) of support for the change program you’ve designed. Good luck!
- Module 7 – Debrief
The classroom debrief helps to consolidate insights from the day and translate learning into action.

This section contains 8 exercises. Expect to follow the instructions in each video and complete a Confidence Check at the end of the section.
- Module 3 – Before You Deliver
This section contains 5 exercises. Expect to follow the instructions in each video and complete a Confidence Check at the end of the section.
- Module 4 – Executing the Simulation
This section contains 29 exercises. Expect to follow the instructions in each video and complete a Confidence Check at the end of the section.
- Module 5 – Engaging and Supporting Your Learners
This section involves learning about the technology required to run an the simulation. Expect to complete a Confidence Check at the end of the section.
- Module 6 – Virtual Delivery
This module discusses the tactics and nuances of delivering the simulation to a remote audience. For purposes of this module, virtual delivery means that all participants are joining from their own location and that the facilitator is also remote.
