As an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in employment law, counseling, training, and litigation, Ann focuses on preventive law for employers – keeping organizations on the job instead of in the courtroom.
Ann has litigated claims of wrongful discharge and discrimination before state and federal courts and administrative matters before the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, representing employers and employees.
Both as a firm partner and as a director, Ms. Kiernan gained solid experience in management and human resources compliance. Her articles on employment law have been published in many books and magazines.
She has designed and delivered respectful workplace, harassment, and sensitivity training and coaching since 1997.
Ann received a JD from Rutgers University School of Law.
