Creating a High Tech Sales Culture with a Global Leader

This high tech client knew that sales performance rarely fails because of product gaps or weak demand. More often, it fails because the sales culture — how sales and customer related work gets done — cannot keep pace with the company’s growth ambitions, competitive pressures, and customer demands. Based upon a new go-to-market sales strategy, they wanted to define and embed what “high performance solution selling” looks like across the enterprise for every department and fucntion.

The three-year initiative focuses on tapping 20 years of high performance culture research to benchmark strengths and weaknesses, identify the leadership moves to best drive performance across Dealerships and Distribution Partners in Europe, North America, South America, and China, and certify internal leaders to implement the changes to increase sales performance.

With support from executive sales coaches, the internal sales leaders will be responsible for:

1. Analyzing high performance culture diagnostic results.
2. Agreeing on how to ensure the most dramatic improvement in sales performance across the sales organization.
3. Implementing the two most impactful sales performance actions.
4. Measuring the impact on the business in terms of sales revenue, margin, win rate, portfolio mix, deal size, and cycle time.
