Supervisory Skills and Situational Leadership at a Global Satellite Communications Company

The first part of the customized Management Training program will focus on conducting useful and accurate performance evaluations, setting clear objectives and identifying targets that are aligned with department and strategic goals.  Participants will:

  • Assess and understand communication styles.
  • Practice adapting leadership and communication approaches to different situations and people.
  • Learn how to coach individuals and teams to improve, reward and monitor performance.
  • Learn to set realistic and motivating goals.

The second part of the customized Management Training program will focus on diagnosing tasks and relationships, adapting management approaches to help teams perform, and clearly communicating expectations during performance coaching.  Participants will:

  • Explain the concepts of management and its relationship to effective performance
  • Better assess and communicate criteria for performance expectations
  • Increase their ability to influence their direct reports.
  • Improve employee motivation, engagement, retention and commitment.
