Description

A companion program to Retaining Top Talent for Managers, LSA’s management workshop for reducing employee attrition, this half-day workshop focuses on the individual contributor’s role in creating a work environment that fosters individual and organizational success and, by natural extension, employee commitment and retention.

The Retaining Top Talent for Individual Contributors program encourages participants to see themselves as investors in the company, setting a context of mutual cooperation for mutual gain.

Participants identify the retention-related factors most motivating to them, assess which factors are and are not working, and emerge from the workshop ready to discuss a specific plan of action with their manager.

(Prior participation by company managers in the Retaining Top Talent for Managers workshop is recommended.)

Participant Outcomes

  • A sense of ownership as an investor in the company and in themselves
  • Awareness of the value of partnering with the company for mutual success
  • Identification of the retention factors that have the most impact on their personal motivation and commitment to the company
  • Specific strategies and actions for positively impacting all areas that are important to them, including those that need improvement
  • Prepared to discuss their action plan with their manager
